The Better Meat Co has appointed Pamela Marrone to its board of directors.

The Better Meat Co (BMC) has secured $31 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round to expand its patented mycoprotein fermentation technology to commercial scale.

Two alt-protein start-ups – Oshi and The Better Meat Co – have jointly been awarded a $1 million grant from the BIRD Foundation.
